Last night Plague City received this fantastic review on Amazon and I thought I’d share it:
Plague City is a nice, quick read that works well on its own or would work very well as the introduction to a post-apocalyptic study. Really, it is an effective character study that is deep and surprising. The main character is very well developed and though I found myself empathizing with him, I didn’t like him (which just shows how well he is written!) While this was a very complete read in and of itself, I found myself wanting to know more about this world. I hope the author sets more stories or a novel within this setting- I’m very curious about the history of this city!
This is so amazing to read! The reader totally understood the main character I was trying to write, and the fact that this is really the first story I’ve written purely for an adult audience makes me think perhaps I didn’t complete screw it up.
I’m doing everything I can right now to get more reviews going. I ran another free day today. I’m running a LibraryThing Giveaway over the next week, and probably another one after that. Heck, if you ask me for a free epub or mobi file I’ll be more than happy to send you one. Reviews like this one are the ultimate motivation, and I could definitely stand to get a few more.
